Book-of-business analysis

Find insurance cross-sell opportunities already inside your book

Upload a book-of-business export and GridPull groups policies by customer, normalizes coverage names, and identifies account-rounding opportunities. Review the evidence for each suggestion, then prioritize follow-up using the premium and renewal data your agency already has.

A review queue, not a black box

Cross-sell suggestions are starting points for an agent's coverage review. GridPull uses the policies, customer information, premium, and renewal fields in the uploaded file. It does not replace an agent's coverage analysis or assume missing data is known.

Upload an agency export

Use an export from AMS360, Applied Epic, EZLynx, HawkSoft, QQCatalyst, or a structured spreadsheet.

Map and normalize policies

GridPull maps uploaded columns, groups policies by customer, and normalizes line-of-business labels for analysis.

Review account-rounding opportunities

The rules engine identifies lines that may warrant a coverage conversation based on the policies and industry information present in the file.

Prioritize the queue

Available premium and renewal fields help sort opportunities. Missing values remain missing rather than being invented.

What the analysis uses

Your book remains the source of truth

The strongest results come from exports that identify customers, policy lines, premium, industry, and expiration or renewal dates. GridPull shows which source fields were mapped so the agency can correct ambiguous columns before analysis.

  • Customer and policy grouping
  • Commercial line-of-business normalization
  • Industry-informed account-rounding rules
  • Premium ranges based on available policy data
  • Renewal prioritization only when renewal data is present

Examples of review opportunities

Depending on the customer's industry and the policies present in the upload, the analysis can surface common commercial review areas such as umbrella, cyber, workers' compensation, commercial auto, employment practices liability, inland marine, flood, and liquor liability.

A surfaced line is not a statement that coverage is required or absent. Producers should confirm operations, exposures, existing policies, and carrier appetite before making a recommendation.

Insurance cross-sell questions

Does GridPull change the agency's policy records?

No. The upload is analyzed to build a separate opportunity queue. The source export remains the reference for customer and policy data.

What if the file does not include a renewal date?

GridPull can still group policies and identify review opportunities, but it does not invent a renewal date. Renewal-based sorting is strongest when the export includes that field.

Is every suggested line a confirmed coverage gap?

No. Suggestions identify accounts worth reviewing. An agent must verify operations, exposures, existing coverage, and suitability before making a recommendation.
